In 2003, the dream called the Malina sausage factory became a reality. The dream took shape since 1996, when the Nica family laid the foundations of the most frequented grocery store in Caracal, a kind of Iocan’s meadow, where even today people gather to buy a sausage and have a chat.

However, in 2010 the dream had already taken shape and, with technology and standards of hygiene and professionalism at the order of the day, the company had started to put tasty meat products on the local market. Today, many years after the opening of the first store, Malina means a group of companies united under the motto of lust for life, including an agricultural farm and a modern factory with a certified production capacity of 60 tons per day, with more than 400 employees and a portfolio of over 170 meat dishes.

The decision to implement the Crosspoint solution within Malina came as a result of the requirement to optimize activities in the logistics area. The project started in 2022 by implementing the WMS component within the warehouse.
