EcoFerm is one of the most modern farms in Romania, consisting of: agricultural farm, animal farm and production factory. Thus, the buyer is assured that he is receiving a 100% controlled product, starting with the feed for the cows, up to the Mugura product, which he finds on the store shelves. From the first 100 heifers in 2008, EcoFerm has today reached a number of 1,850 Holstein heifers, of which 850 are lactating cows, which produce an average of 32 liters of milk/day.
The heifers are accommodated in semi-open shelters, which respect modern welfare and growth conditions, equipped with bunk accommodation systems, with rest mattresses made of a combination of special materials so as to provide optimal comfort. The cows’ feed is provided 100% by our own vegetable farm, where, on an area of over 1,300 hectares, we sow the land with: wheat, barley, corn, alfalfa and triticale (cereals). Cultivated lands are fertilized only with natural fertilizers.

Project features
The implementation of Crosspoint WMS resulted as a requirement from the company’s business to obtain high efficiency and accuracy for auxiliary and finished product warehouses. The implementation time was fast, maintaining the alignment requirements with the ERP flows and at the same time addressing advanced areas of the solution present in the other companies in the group:

- Transfer between Companies (delivery from one company processed optimized at reception in Company 2 warehouse)

- Special labeling per customer at box / pallet level
- Batch/BBD item management with specific requirements per customer/delivery address
